Just doing some perusing and saw an old post from 2 months ago stating that Harley changed the Engine Oil Check procedures from what the dipstick and manual said in 25 (on jiffy stand) to now you are supposed to do it upright. Went to the service info harley site and registered but every bulletin says I need a subscription to view??

Is there a different site to check for bulletins? Supposedly the oil check change is M1697 but i don't see that anywhere. I am curious about this one that is listed when I put my VIN in:

M1722 (REV A): Exhaust Smoke, Oil Carry-Over or Milky Oil (M8 Models with Transmission-Mounted Breather)

No matter what I click on it says I need a subscription.
