Council just approved keeping stage 3 in place through 6/10.

The City’s 4/15 update (lake at 631.4’) stated:

“*The goal is to achieve and maintain a lake elevation of 633 feet. This **will allow us to safely move to and remain in Stage 1 during a two-week scheduled shutdown after Memorial Day** to complete full repairs on the existing raw waterline, finish construction of the secondary raw waterline and conduct pump maintenance.*”

4/24 update:

“*Lake Pflugerville has officially reached 633 feet…City Council will be discussing next steps on Tuesday, April 28, and we will share updates on water restrictions after that conversation.*”

4/28 meeting:

Council approves extending Mayor’s emergency order through 6/10.

I agree keeping some restrictions (stage 1) in place while the uncertainty of cutting in the new line at the end of May is looming but, y’all are moving the goalposts here folks.

You set a target, we got there, you should’ve done what you implied you would.
