Has anyone ran one of these 60amp pwm from Amazon with a 55lb Newport trolling motor? Should draw 52amp but I’m concerned about heat. Also what gauge wiring would be recommend with the 55lb?

Hi I plan on putting a motor of the back of my old town sportsman 106. Wondering is 30lb thrust enough or should go to 40+. About 250lb total weight in the kayak. Mostly lake but some river trips
