Word-o: I made a browser word game where everyone gets the same daily board
Hey everyone, I grew up loving games like Boggle, and still play with my kids now and then. Recently I built a browser-based word game inspired by it, mainly because I wanted to see how I’d stack up against other people.
Each day has the same shared board for everyone, so you can compare your score against the global average. I also track the top score of the day (kept anonymous to keep things fair and avoid gaming it).
There’s also a multiplayer mode if you want to challenge friends or family.
I added a few fun touches too, like animations when you find longer words (7+ letters). You can also play on your mobile phone as well (which I prefer).
Would genuinely love any feedback on how to improve it. Enjoy!
