I'm trying out this method of using a bottle and wicking rope to extend the time between soaks. The wick is buried beneath a bed of pumice that the Kokedama sits on top of. I leave the bottom of my Kokedama's bare so that the soil can soak up the moisture from the bottom.

I'm still experimenting with this method, anyone ever tried something like this?
