Ryan Johnson with the Sedins to Hockey Ops

Feels like it's a "more of the same" hire - quite uninspiring if you ask me. I know many will suggest the Sedins* will 'bring character' to the team, but were they not doing that before in their Player Development roles?

My biggest concern is that Aqua saw the success RJ had winning in Abby and thinks he can spark the same in the NHL...but bringing on vets in the NHL is the opposite of what we want, even if that works in the AHL.

FWIW: I am only half kidding - The Canucks' history of announcing things that will be negatively perceived on a Friday afternoon as if the world won't notice, is a cheap attempt at an outdated Communications trick.
