Since the Great Chicago Popening of May 25, 2025, good things have come upon the downtrodden Chicago sports scene:

June 2025: Hawks stay in top 3 by virtue of lottery rules, draft Anton Frondell.

July 2025: Justin Ishbia announced to buy minority stake in White Sox with long term deal to become majority owner.

December 2025: White Sox surprise baseball signing Munetaka Murakami

January 2026: Bears win 2025 NFCN division title, knock Green Bay out of the playoffs.

April/May 2026: Bulls fire AKME, move up to 4 in draft lottery in year with 4 clear top prospects.

May 2026: Cubs in 1st place and Sox at .500 and in the SECOND wildcard spot currently.

Things are pointing up. Through god, anything is possible. Jot that down.
