What do if another artist is coaching your apprentice?

Shop owner/ mentor 30 years experience. A new hire who's been tattooing for less than a year is coaching my apprentice when I had a clear rule to not teach my apprentice. Hes kind of a cool guy ive hung out with him but from another mentors perspective is this rude of this guy or am I over reacting?

My friend and I were speaking today and I was venting about my job cause our apprentice was asking tips from a new hire who's been working for 4 months and only limited training still learning, so many days in a row asking and asking and today upset me cause our boss strictly says to not do that and ive known him for 5 years I look up to him.

I vented that and I said " why does the fetus keep asking the 4 month old questions ?" And he just pointed out that I used another example saying our printer problem was like a wound that needs to be cut out. He says I'm constantly using metaphors and stuff like that when I'm in high emotions. I think its to get my point across with something I feel will get across to people idk made me self conscious edit: ( I vented to a friend about a co worker, not to the coworker. I have more common sense than to speak that way to a co worker)
