I want to scan car body panels to create body kits. I'm currently looking at purchasing either the Einstar Shining or Creality Raptor (let me know if you've experience with either or if theres better options). I'm looking at some beat-up gaming laptops that might be able to do the scans, but it feels like a waste as I already have a beefy pc. Problem is that it's across the house from my driveway.
My question is, has anyone tried USB over wifi while scanning? So, using a laptop as a hub and remote connect to the pc for the scanner. How was it, and what did you learn or have trouble with?
