Hi guys! I have been a fan of techwear for years now but haven’t done a super deep dive because what I really want is a full Acronym wardrobe but the finances are nowhere near healthy enough for it. Maybe one day. But for now, I would like to get my feet wet if possible. I am in need of a new fully waterproof jacket and would love to get my collection started. I personally love the oversized, large hood, full face zip, hella pockets, straps, etc. from what I’ve gathered I think I fall into the dystopian/futuristic or even darkwear style? I’ve seen some good examples from Helly Hansen for the 200-300 price point but I wanted to get some recommendations from you guys if possible. I realize I’m fairly limited at this budget but I can stretch a little if needed. It absolutely must be fully waterproof, not just resistant. If I just need to buy a regular waterproof jacket that’s fine but if there are some cool techy options around this price please point me to them. Thanks!
