Firstly I’m a novice and this is my first gaming pc.
Okay so I technically didn’t build this myself, and bought it off eBay 2nd hand from a pawn shop type of place, however I think the fans are wrong here. The build is:
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 4080
MSI B650 Gaming Plus WiFi (MS-7E26)
32GB DDR5 RAM
1TB NVMe SSD
Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120
Montech King 95
MSI MAG A850GL
6 RGB case fans (hub-controlled)
Looking at the fans:
Top - appear to have 2 intake and 1 extract
Back (by plug socket) - 2 extract
Long side - 2 extract
I think I need to flip the 2 on top so they are all extracting, and then flip the 2 at the back so they are both intake?
I can’t imagine the top should be extracting and I taking as this will cause turbulence and inefficiency in cooling?
That being said, I ran Arma Reforger at high settings for 2 hours and max temp for the cpu was 58.2 and gpu 44.8.
Finally - my current monitor is only 1080p and 75hz so fps was limited to 75 however am planning on buying a new monitor imminently which will now doubt cause a heavier load so want the cooling right. I’ve tested all the hardware with the help of AI and it seems to be running perfect but this has confused me.
Thanks in advance.
