I’m trying to put together a rack with two channels of IEM and eight channels of mics and instruments for an international touring artist that ranges from mid to larger halls and theaters headlining to arena/stadium support. It needs to be compact for fly dates too.
I’m not a wiz with this stuff clearly and I’ll be doing the coordination myself as the only audio crew member so it needs to be as quick and easy as possible to set up.
Obviously Axient and Spectera look great but for the price tag I’d want to make sure it’s hitting my marks on being:
Compact
Easy to deploy
Good frequency range for use internationally
Dante and analog I/O
And basically that it’s not overkill for this kind of channel count
I’d love to get an idea of what you folks would invest in right now given these constraints.
Would it be silly to just buy a used dual channel PSM1000 and a couple 4ch ULXD units?
Anyone using Wisycom or something else that’s not on my radar?
Thanks!
