Hey everyone,

I’m 22, living in Canada (half the year is heavy winter
and buying my first car. Goal is to keep it for at least 10 years and I only drive 10k km a year
The Cars:

1. 2019 Mazda CX-5 Signature ($25k, 100k km): Turbo + Nappa leather. Cheaper, but older screen.
2. 2021 Mazda CX-5 GT ($30k, 110k km): Non-Turbo (NA) + New 10" screen. $5k more for higher mileage.
3. 2022 Hyundai Tucson: Techy, but prefer Mazda driving feel.
   Financials: $15k down, $1k/month savings for car costs.
   Questions:
   • Reliability: For a 10-year hold, is the Mazda Turbo a liability compared to the NA engine?
   • Insurance: How much will the "Signature/Turbo" trim hurt my rates as a 22yo new driver vs. the GT?
   • Tech: Is the 2021 screen worth the $5k jump, or should I save that for maintenance/insurance?
   • Wildcards: Any better SUVs for the Alberta rust belt under $25k-30k?
