Looking at the market today I’m confident this is the day I cross the mark 😁. Still a long way to go though until I hit my goal of $3.5m. But, through the magic of compounding interest it looks good

Btw this was achieved by being 100% in a large cap growth fund for 7 years now. Recently started diversifying though

Looking to see if anyone here has any real extensive use with the new Honda HRX-BE mowers yet? Would be coming from a 2018 HRX217HYA w/ GCV190 engine and concerned that at $1300 it'll be a letdown compared to my old gal (gave my mower it to my dad to help him out). Also considering the Stihl's and Toro Super Recycler but hate the Toro personal pace system.

For reference, I have a very small yard, less than a 0.2 acre lot with a large house and an in-ground pool so 45 minute runtime is a non-issue. Cost isn't really a big concern either, just want the best build-quality mower and cut possible. Also the local dealer says they can service the Hondas in house versus needing to send them out for service like other consumer-grade brands

I borrowed the neighbors Ego this weekend to try a battery mower for the first time and I was not impressed at all. It did the job but left huge clumps of my (admittedly) way-overgrown lawn all over the place. My father-in-law, who is a big Ego supporter, blamed the crap cut on using the wrong blade (high-lift?) but that's no excuse IMO. I don't need to change the blade on my Honda. I even used the trimmer first to knock down the tall sections first then cut it 3 times. So the Ego isn't even in consideration. I'm hoping that's the difference between a "big-box store" type of mower and a higher quality unit you buy from a specialty retailer. Not battery versus gas.
