As title. We have a smelly drain in the road right outside our newbuild and have complained a number of times to the developer who are still on site to no avail. Smell severity changes depending on the day (hot with no wind is the worst) Developer will get guys out to check on it, I hear no response about what the issue is/was.

Im thinking that there is something wrong with the design of the drain system and therefore they are doing their best to ignore a costly fix.

What are my options with this - would anything be covered by the NHBC warranty? Coukd i complain to rhe council? Its in the street and not technically part of our plot.
