Hi. It seems like my tourist visa will not be coming in time. I have already book this round trip itinerary:

JFK to PVG (arriving on May 15 to PVG) with a 6 hour layover in HND.

PEK to JFK (leaving on May 24 to JFK) with a 3 hour layover in HND.

I am thinking of adding a short trip to Hong Kong.

Flying from PVG to HKG on May 18th. Staying a few hours or 1 day in HK before ~May 19th fly from HKG to PEK.

1. How long do I need to stay in Hong Kong?

2. Does my 240 hour timer reset after I go back to PEK from HKG?

3. Is it okay that my overall trip is round trip? and that I already booked the round trip section first and am only booking the HK trip now?

4. Would this plan be eligible for TWOV?
