Shooting with Canon R5, I’ve looked into tilt shift adapters and what to expect with adapting medium format lenses to full frame. But wanted to know if anyone could comment on overall experience because my research seems to imply the ddr version has imperfect characteristics that make it have an “older” sought after look, vs the c/y variant that has a cleaner, “modern” zeiss look. Can anyone shine light cause part of me thinks it might be bullshit. So is it worth the pain in the ass of using tilt shift and adapting it to full frame, or the contax version will produce similar results? Using this lens strictly for studio portraits!
