Eating scenes make you desperately want the food on screen

  1. Inglorious Basterds', strudel. Hans Landa was an evil mf, but that strudel he ate was mouth wathering.

  2. They Call me Trinity, beans and bread. Such a simple meal but the hunger portrayed by the actor when eating the beans made the scene amazing.

  3. Harold and Kumar, White Castle burguers. Never had them as I don't live in the USA, but I can see how White Castle sales rose exponentially the week when the movie was released.

  4. The Green Book, KFC scene. The scene made me crave fried chicken so much that I ordered KFC that night, if that was a marketing tactic it certainly worked.

Man, poor Fulgrim. . .

I just finished reading "Fulgrim". Well, that is a lie, I finished last week and I am currently reading Descent of Angels which I am really really enjoying, absolute page turner. Still, I finished the book last week and seeing the fate of Fulgrim broke me. My guy was an arrogant dick, but he was not a bad primarch. He was good with his legion, and geniunely cared about his legion, brothers (mostly) and father. He didn't deserve that fate.

That damned sword. . I honestly believe he would not have fallen to Chaos if not for the sword. I can't even say fuck Erebus becuase the asshole did not have a hand on any of this.

But damn, the moment he killed Ferrus and came back to his senses was gut wrenching, seeing him realize what he did and falling to despair. My man did not want to do any of this (or maybe he did, I don't know), but when he came back he wanted to end it all. The friendship between him and Ferrus was one of the most wholesome things I had seen, and I should have seen it coming that it would be tragic.

Man, it's a shame because he didn't join Chaos willingly, it was forced upon him. Horus was tragic too, but he was deceived and chose Chaos by his own volition.

Why am I even reading this. It's very fucking good but it pains me every time someone falls to Chaos.

Also, I hope that Eidolon son of a whore dies, I despise the character with every fiber of my being, even more than Lucius (at least he is kind of cool).
