Corrugated “nails”?

Years ago I used to use these fasteners that I thought of as nails, though they were hardly like any kind of standard nail.

Think of a sheet of thin metal, maybe the thickness of 2-3 razor blades, and corrugated. Then the thin/sharp side would be driven into the wood at a butt joint to hold two pieces together.

What are these fasteners called? Are they still made? Where can one get them?

This is old decor from my wife’s late mother. We do not know the age or anything about the creator — it was possibly done by a family member/ancestor.

Do people want these anymore?
