How can I train my 4 week old kitten to use the litter?
Yes, I know he was taken way too early. The owner refused to keep the kittens any longer so my cousin stepped in to find people to take them. I got him yesterday and he's adjusting okay so far. He's a cuddle bug and loves to play, having trouble wanting to eat but he was literally taken from his mother as a newborn.
I've showed him the litter. After he eats I'll put him in there so he knows where to go. Yes it is far from his food and sleeping area. Ik it's going to take some time to get him to use it, I've just never had a cat this young. The other either came litter trained or got it almost immediately. Just wanted tips or maybe I need to try something different. Any advice is appreciated :)
