Just here to rant mostly but also maybe seeking advice idk. Where the fuck do they get off not paying overtime? Just. Not paying it. Refusing to do so. Is this not just wage theft with extra steps/documentation? Can I send this to the labor board and ding the company?

But honestly, what do they expect? Should I just cut work and leave at 40 hours of the job isn’t done? I guess the fuck so if they’re gonna blatantly steal from me.

Edit: apparently I read it wrong according to some of you. The way I interpreted it was not approved = not paid. Either way 40 hours and I’m out is the standard now. It’s difficult because I’m a mobile MA (blood draws, vaccine administration, etc) but I’ll just tell me Anderson that he will have to wait for his shingles vaccine until tomorrow 🤷🏽
