As we have seen in their "help" to allies, they have failed them. They let Syria die after its offensive. They let Armenia lose land without doing anything in its own neighborhood. At this point, they are ceding Central Asia to China, and China continues to get more of Siberia through treaties that are unfair to Russia. They left Venezuela out to dry and are not helping Cuba that much. In the Iran conflict, aside from intelligence sharing, it has been proven that their army sucks. They have failed to defeat Ukraine. In the Sahel, they have been losing ground to terrorists, and their killings and corruption have helped give recruitment to those terrorists. They have terrible equipment and a massive corruption problem. They really only have resources, and that’s it—yeah, cheap, but you could find them anywhere else. They lack innovation, and a lot of the people who would be making it have left. They also have a terrible, and probably worsening, demographic crisis. It’s funny how the alt-right says they love Russia because it’s a “White conservative superpower” when there are fewer White people in it by the day, and it’s an abortion superpower.
