Hi guys, good morning. Been learning from this sub a lot and have used comments here and some research to create an itinerary for me and my wife for our honeymoon.
We have tried to remain close to train stations as we won't be taking any car rentals and we are coming to Italy to relax and mainly Good food.
Please let us know if we should add/modify and if we should try something really special in the places we list down. Thanks a lot for your time.
7th: landing in Milan, transfer to Como Borghi.
8th : Full Day in Como. Planning a boat ride.
9th morning: Transfer to Bologna; check in and roam around.
10th: full Day in Bologna; Food tour. We may taste wine but we don't drink alcohol so it's not very high on our priority list.
11th: Morning transfer to Florence; roam around in evening
12th: Full day in Florence; Can consider a day trip to nearby places. Suggestions?
*13th: Morning Transfer to Sienna/Pienza/Chiusi*
This is where we are a bit stuck as travel to Pienza seems too long by train. Please let us know if it so or we are overthinking.
If staying in Sienna, we may take a day trip to Lucca or Pienza then.
14th: Full day based on location
15th: Transfer to Minori near Amalfi coast ( another long trip)
16th: Full day in Minori, exploring Amalfi, positano, path of gods of time permits.
17th: Transfer to Rome; will relax after long travel.
18-20th: Rome tourist attractions and fly out on same day.
