Ornamant & Crimes - O.R.N.8 & Phazerville – New PCB Version
I've created a new PCB version for the ORNA8 that integrates the adapter and brings the module up to 12 HP. The module has been designed to match the original look in order to honor Paul's work. To keep the module viable as a DIY project, I haven't reduced the component sizes, so it can still be hand-soldered. My goal is to upload the data to GIT or have you publish it to preserve the module’s open-source DNA.
Features:
MIDI pin still present on the PCB – option to route the MIDI connector externally (e.g., to the back of the case)
VBUS USB Host jumper – the Teensy VBUS jumper needs to be disconnected further
What is omitted:
USB host cable
Trigger cable
MIDI cable
Adapter PCB
DJ Phazer's logo has also been placed in several spots. 😉
