Hello,

My kelpie is 14 and will be turning 15 in July. She has arthritis and is gradually getting worse. She has been on cartrophen for two years. She receives her injection every four weeks.

Are there some good medications that help with joint pain or promote cartilage repair?

I have ordered some rosehip vital online and I’m hoping that will work.

The vet has recommended some medications such as Beransa and Gabapentin, however I am a little concerned about the side-effects.

Does anyone have any recommendations?
