Seeking advice

I work for a full time small to midsize department, 6 stations ~10,000 calls per year. I recently took over an area of responsibility taking care of our small engine equipment, primarily portable saws. While we do have a defined policy for weekly operational checks, fluid levels, chain tension etc, there is currently no policy pertaining to regular or annual maintenance for them. I’m hoping someone in this groups department has a standard they can share with me to help create my own.

We currently have Stihl TS420 as a cut off saw and Stihl MS462C chainsaws.

I have already read through endless user manuals however the manufacturer typically does not account for the type of use and conditions subjected by the fire service.

Any and all info is helpful. Thanks in advance
