2, is it weird to buy this for a mum and daughter

FYI: late booking, will be booking restaurants 15 days out as didn’t book with 45 days notice
Started my fellow job in 2024.
Have worked 2x 12-month fixed term contracts since in the same role. However I have calculated this is just under 730 days due to the nature of changeover dates.
Despite departmental support, I have been advised my contract may not be extended as working for 2+ years in the same role gains employment rights which the trust will not wish to be liable for.
Does anyone have any experience of this or any advice?
