Im planning on getting a stem major but I really suck at writing so should i take the optional writing section for the act or not?

Im a soon to be sophomore thats planning to take the ACT either in july or september but i lwk havent practiced or like study so am i cooked or not

was there a lot of questions about the carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus cycle? I don't really know how much I should study for them cause its lwk memorization heavy

I think im getting like 45-50 for mcqs but my comprehension for frqs are lacking so does anyone have any tips to get a better score for the frqs? Also if i get like 45-50 on my mcqs how many points do i have to get on the frqs to get a 5.
