BRK 56% in cash w/ option income?

BRK has a record high 56% of portfolio in cash ($397 billion). They claim mostly in Treasury bills. Do you think that's only half of the truth and they keep generating solid income on it by selling "cash" secured deep OTM and DTE PUT options? Tell me how you do it.

I have been working on collecting liquid stocks that are boring, meaning flatish price move, no big shocks, low IV to name a few parameters. Then I sell Bull Put Spread on them with 10-15 DTE. A few names that came up: COST, WMT, MA. So far it is working out well. Anyone uses similar systematic approaches? What do you think about this approach?

I asked ChatGPT on the pros/cons trading options with 0DTE vs 15DTE, but I am curious why you do one or another. Or if you combine what's you logic behind it.
