Thinking about getting a wee runabout and like the little minis as something a bit different.

My old man is dead against them (along with any Euro's) due to mai tenance and reliabilityissues...

I see the first Gen has issues but reading up 2nd Gen seems ok?

Anyone have any experience with them, or knows which specific models/engines etc to avoid or recommend?

Thanks for the feedback all... this is probably the most universal panning of a car I've seen!! Dang they look funky but will go back to the drawing board for our wee runabout!!! Thanks for the advise... I'm sure it saved me a few grand in repairs and biking to work waiting for parts!
