Are scholarships at SBU plentiful enough to cover 27k of cost a year?
this might be a stupid question but oh well. stonybrook is my top choice, but i live out of state, and graduating with 120k in debt is.... not ideal :(
i see there's that little platform for scholarships, the scholarship universe thing. as far as i know, i can't apply for any of these scholarships if I don't put my deposit in/confirm that i'm for sure going to stonybrook. but this is really tricky. cause I could be committing to something i cannot get covered by scholarships.
is it worth it to take that risk? is 30k a year truly not that bad for the education i'd be getting? or should i give up and stay in mormonland usa?
thank you for any responses ^_^ im truly stuck here and honestly feeling very defeated by the cost of this school haha.
oh also im majoring/plan to have a career in geology. if this changes anything
