I've always been a white diamond girlie, but then my partner gifted me with a vivid red ruby ring and I am in love with it -- firstly because of the thought behind it: garnet is my birthstone, but he thought of something in the same color that would be more sturdy and long-lasting; and secondly because it's been fascinating to see how the color registers differently based on ambient lighting (see 3rd pic where it looks almost purple!). Hype it with me! And for anyone thinking of exploring gemstones other than diamonds, absolutely go for it, esp sapphires and rubies 😍
