Changing from BBA to Psychology

Hey,

So i recently completed BBA and initially I wanted to go for psychology but parents werent that supportive bout it and now i made it clear that I wanna pursue msc psychology but now I cant apply for it as I dont have credits in psychology subjects.

So im thinking of doing a pg diploma from IIPR and then go for msc in a better college. Regardless ive applied to Fergusson as well but yea I wanted to know if pg diploma here is worth it.

Hey guys,

So I was a HR intern at a startup with around 200 employees and growing exponentially. So I came with a mindset to be different, especially since many friends of mine in tech always look down on hr folks or are scared of them. I had identified the pain points and tried to be different and honorable.

So firstly I maintained a healthy relationship with all my hires as well as other employees from other domains and pretty much was popular with people especially the gen z crowd as well as helping them out with any workplace issues. I disliked the hr cabin mainly cuz other ppl were in call as well and I preferred a quiet environment so mostly I worked at empty couches. Whereas for lunch the team was mainly women and I lowkey felt left out in the conversation so I preferred hanging out with other friends. I wanted to do other projects in marketing, making a documentary like the office which was vetod down. The other intern used to send irrelevant profiles ad well to make it seem like shes submitting more profiles whereas I stuck to relevant ones and were confident about them, if I gave 4 profiles and she gave 8 we both had 3 going forward as shortlisted. Once I made a formatting error in important mails and I agree that was my fault and another time I was traveling and I asked for leave but my manager pressured for wfh and I agreed and one of the offer letters I sent I made a mistake with the name which was raised as a huge issue and I agree it was my fault as I was rushing it.

Thats a gist of everything I did there. Now a couple days later my manager calls me and was upset with me because of the offer letter incident and once she left I cried, I had a lot going on. My managers superior walked in and saw me crying and later the hrbp came asking. Me being trusting I just said its work stuff and my mistakes and she supported me and went. And couple days forward they say im fired.

Did I do something wrong? Was I having superficial expectations and should I just stick to my job?
