This might not be the best time in the world, or in my own life, to be reading this book. Barton is a colossal asshole, but honestly, I get it. I'm 41 and work for a soulless corporation. I do OK, but have to live with the constant worry that my job could just disappear any day. My wife and her entire department had their jobs eliminated two weeks ago at 4 PM on a Friday with no notice or warning whatsoever. I know how it is to feel like you are running as fast as you can, but the world is still bearing down behind you. I'm just tired man.
