I put the Buckminster Fullers Dymaxion Projection on my kids’ magnetiles. My kids (3&6) couldn’t care less, but I find it fascinating.
It’s a puzzle of sorts that allows you to shift what is at the center of the map.
- Lay it flat as a 2d image (typical view)
- Create three elevated 5 sided pyramids (as shown in these images)
- Make it into a 3d icosahedron globe
Thoughts?
