Hey everyone,
I'm planning to apply for permanent residence in Finland and trying to figure out if a Finnish course would count as valid language proof before I commit to it.
I'm looking at Finnish for Foreigners 1, 2, 3 through Metropolia University of Applied Sciences (Open UAS) - delivered fully online, worth 15 ECTS credits.
My questions:
- Does an Open UAS online course count as valid language proof for PR?
- Or does it have to be a formal test like YKI?
- Has anyone successfully used university course credits instead of a language test?
Don't want to spend months on the course only to find out Migri won't accept it. Any experience or advice appreciated 🙏
