Hey redditors, I was let go of last week due to the “restructuring of the companies strategies due to the current sales”. I used to work as a sales associate at a famous watch industry and I was still in probation ( It was my fifth month only ), the fact that I accepted upon myself to work closing shifts everyday and achieved high sales almost every month and was still let go of easily smh..
I honestly feel scared of how will I manage the next few months financially, I’m only 24, I have a diploma and the first job that I landed was in the retail industry and when I was struck with reality it showed me how unstable it is.
Can anyone help me with career tips on how can I get into the corporate world and what skills I can learn in the meantime until I can land a job it would be very helpful.
P.s I have a business management diploma with 3 years of retail experience.
