Fraudulent Activity / False Advertising from Boosteroid
Warning about Boosteroid if you use it for cloud gaming!
For context, I was noticing charges from Boosteroid from an account I didn't use. Apparently they were still billing me for automatic monthly renewal, which caused a lot of confusion because they told me they don't save credit card information, and there's nowhere on their website where you can see your account's saved cards. Two representatives also told me they don't save credit card information, yet they were able to continue billing this inactive account, and when I reached out about this, they refused to explain how they had my card information if they didn't save it, nor would they give me a refund despite me not using their service on that account for over a month.
Thankfully, I was able to dispute this with my bank and I've since gotten a new card since my old one is floating around their database somewhere, unable to be accessed nor deleted by me (and they don't even acknowledge they have it). Be careful on this website, as they will save your credit card information.
