Need help choosing a lounge chair under $2k… too many “Eames-inspired” options 😭

I’m currently trying to choose a lounge chair for my apartment, and I keep coming back to the Eames Lounge Chair aesthetic… but the authentic one costs spaceship money

So I started looking into alternatives under my budget ($2000 max), and now I’m debating between these:

  • Pic 1: electric reclining “Eames-style” chair, around $1000
  • Pic 2: fabric + wheels version, around $629
  • Pic 3: Napa leather version, around $799
  • Pic 4: Chinese-made electric lounge chair, around $799

I know this sub leans more ergonomic/task-chair focused, but I’m curious from a comfort perspective:

Do these kinds of lounge chairs actually feel good for long sitting sessions, reading, gaming, watching movies, etc.? Or do they end up being more of a “looks amazing in photos” type of chair?

Also curious whether people here would prioritize:

  • genuine leather
  • powered recline
  • softer fabric comfort
  • build quality/longevity
  • mobility (wheels)

I have terrible decision paralysis right now and only want to buy one chair that I won’t regret later

Any advice would be appreciated.
