khia asylum basically is a pop culture term talking about celebrities who once had mainstream success, but are kind of forgotten now, or only known within a niche group of people. the name derives from a rapper named “Khia” who had a popular hit, “My Neck, My Back”, but after that, she completely faded into obscurity even despite trying to get back the mainstream success.
