Any ideas on how I run a straight tube past the check valve? I’m thinking cutting in the green area since there’s little play past the check valve but trying to figure out how I’d plug water at the skimmer line . Any help is appreciated

A “pro” did this from a valve into the pump. I want a straight pipe into the pump. Any ideas on how I can cut here and go straight?
