Inaccurate Job Openings

(I tried to post this in the SephoraWorkers subreddit but bc I don’t work there I can’t post idk where else to ask I just need advice on if I should give up and search somewhere else.)

So I’ve been wanting to work at Sephora for a little bit now, and the Sephora near my house has 2 openings. One was posted end of April (Licensed Beauty Advisor), and another was posted like last week (Beauty Advisor). I applied for the licensed beauty advisor like a week after it opened on SephoraCareers, heard nothing back, assumed it was because I’m licensed in cosmetology and not esthetics (that’s a whole different issue imo). Then I got an email they posted an opening for just a beauty advisor. Still haven’t heard anything back and I applied the day OF the job posting. I feel I am very qualified considering I’m a hairdresser right now and I do makeup for weddings, proms, etc. Then I was messaging my friend about it and she knows someone who works in the Sephora I’m trying to work at, my friend asked her about the job and she said her store is fully staffed right now (this was like yesterday). So I’m confused why they’re actively posting openings??? Also I’ve been doing hair for almost 4 years and makeup for 5.

edit to say i’m 25f
