I am currently a first year ba psychology student and I have been wondering about my future career options . I am not trying to make a decision so soon but i aim to explore the different options in my second year especially through projects or internships so that I know what would suit me better. So two options I'm mainly considering are either being a professor hopefully in du or an mba with a further career in either hr or marketing probably.

So any suggestions on what exactly i should do in my second year which would actually help in CV and skill building? I don't think I will get good positions in college societies so what else can I do and how should I go about them exactly?

Never applied for internships or such before so would really appreciate some guidance.

Also if you have any opinions on things I should be aware of before choosing either of these options those are welcome too

I am a first year psychology student in du and have been thinking about my future career options. I have always dreamt of being a professor of psychology in du itself , but tbh right now i don't really know much about being a professor or even about psychological research as such. Should I go for this dream and what are the possible complications I will face? I have heard it is very difficult to do a PhD and it's difficult to get a job without connections . Also how can I start building towards being a professor on an undergraduate level if i do go for it?
