need ideas for punctuation marks

mostly inspired by english and danish, OSV structure

i was inspired to use hyphens when i was learning portuguese and i saw how they use reflexive verbs. e.g. to say "i ate it", they would write "comi-a" where "comi" means "i ate" and "a" is the third person reflexive pronoun.

any ideas for other symbols/approach? it just occured to me that this sentence seems awfully long
