Making ZZZ Agents into Pokemon - Part 11: Spook Shack

Note: I waste way too much time with the writing for this, so instead I’m just going to explain some aspects that need more insight or additional stuff during their creations. If you want some clarifications for things I did or did not clarify, you post a comment and I’ll respond, though not quickly.

Lucia:

Now, this is her new ability, which will give the ether veil effect, though not the same as in ZZZ. By the way, ZZZ Ether Veil, for whatever reason, has completely different effects in each character. To simplify it, this version just boosts slightly damage and increases HP, like dynamax with the HP only. This ability will also be used to a future character as both also bring out the “Ether Veil,” so technically this is not a signature move and means I can give other characters signature abilities, as I will sometimes limit to only 2 signature abilities most of the time.

Manato:

Tried to make his stats more different from Ben, as I realized his stats were too similar during the creation. So I made sure to give Manato more attack and slightly better speed than Ben.

Yid:

Psychic due to her Navigational Skills as a Proxy (sometimes I forgot she is one), and symbols with the mind, such as the swirls and the event story about going to her dreams. Also the dreaming aspect to her is also Psychic. Finally Regenerator due to how Octopuses can regenerate their limbs and how Yidhari can heal herself as well.

Alice:

I don't know why, but she has the most changes with her typing. Originally being Fairy and normal, then switching to fairy and steel, and FINALLY getting to Normal/Steel. Now, Normal type because she feels very normal in terms of looks, and Steel comes from her basically using so many swords that she becomes one, and also with her more elegant style fitting with that typing too. Her stats are just “symmetrical” since it's her whole thing. Because I had to commit to this bit, I had issues with the distribution, as many iterations made her way too bulky. To solve this, I decided to give her only 60 DEF, which with her HP makes her slightly tanky, but not as bulky, though Special bulk may be an issue. Kinda conflicted about her stats.

Yuzuha:

Originally going to be half grass, with the whole Apple core engine, and her being part of ‘Project New Leaf,” though I decided to not use it and instead just make her immune to Grass to reflect that aspect of hers. Also her ability allows her to be immune to ballistic moves, like bullet proof, since it's a reflection to her blocking attacks with her Umbrella. Now, originally her ability was going to make her give a special status effect, but I think it would be better if it was stuck to a signature move instead, probably a Fairy type that also allows her to switch out.

Before we start, all of the agents in this faction will be part Fighting type due them just being Martial Arts Trained and what not.

Pan:
May sound strange giving him Grass, but hear me out. He is the head chef, and it's been stated that the majority of his dishes are mostly vegetarian. Not only that, but also Panda’s are known to eat specifically bamboo, a type of PLANT. Finally Grass itself can be characterized as much more mellow and kind, fitting with Pan’s traits. All this leads to him being Grass. His ability is just a reference not from his gameplay, but rather being the cook, he would be generous in giving food, hence its ability. To differentiate him from Ben, he has higher HP and little more speed than Ben, since he's a Panda.

Ju Fu:
THE 3RD FIRE/FIGHTING! AGAIN! Pretty self explanatory sadly. Ability is intimidate because I needed some supportive ability for her and this was the best option, plus its fitting given she’s a “scary” tiger. Stats lean in way more speed and okay attacking stats, think of Infernape.

Yixuan:
Half Psychic because she does fortune telling, seeing the future, and also Psychic can somewhat reflect her being Ether. She gets a sig ability, and this ignores any defense boosts and abilities when attacking, like how the Rupture class works. The more important part of this ability is that she will use her HP stat to do damage calculations, such as using a special or physical move useless her hp stat to do damage. To top it all off, she has 600 BST, like Miyabi since she's a void hunter, or at least on par in power level as a void hunter, and has… 200 HP with mediocre defense and high speed. Lowest stat is both attack stats, but with her ability and 200 HP, she’s going to hit hard regardless of both spectrums. Is it balanced, absolutely not. Is it fun, yes.

Ye Shun:
As the "official" void hunter of Yunkui, she will start off as half Normal and having only a BST of 580, due to in the game this is basically her basic form. To shake it up, her signature ability allows her to change forms, accumulating damage to reach it and lasting for 3 turns, similar to her ultimate in game. Also her stats focus on high attacks and speed, but very low defenses.

Ye Shun (ULT):
Once in this form, replaces Normal with Ghost, as the Ghost represents the Curse that she holds with the sword, the sword itself holds memories of past sword wielders, and her form looks “ghostly”. Her stats now become 600 BST since its a power increase, with extreme minimaxed stats with attack and speed. This will only last 3 turns, similar to her ult form in the game.
