Concerns with my cat

To give background information;

We recently moved, almost a month ago and I took my cat navy, he is 5 years old. hes been adjusting pretty well, i think he likes a quieter house since my old house was lots of kids. We also introduced him to my partners cat, milo, who is 14. They were tense at first but now seem to enjoy eachothers presence.

I also have a small dog, Scruffy, age 2, who navy seemed to miss, when i moved they were separated for a week and navy kept peeing on everything at home. when we moved navy here, he only peed a couple of times before he stopped and got used to his litter box, he is much quieter here and much more friendly here. Scruffy and Navy also play together. Navy had two siblings at home, but he was not bonded with them.They often got into fights, and he would be alone while they cuddled, or hed try to and they'd leave.

Two days ago(?) we switched him onto a new food that milo eats, milo is very overweight so he is on a diet and hairball dry food, no wet. we feed navy a scoop of dry and a scoop of wet, totaling to just over 1/3 cup, they are both fed twice a day.

My actual concern now is that navy has been vomiting yesterday afternoon and overnight. the first time it appeared to be regurgitation, undigested food, so I figured he ate too fast because he has done that in the past, I was worried because threw up three times in the span of twenty minutes but he seemed to feel a bit better. last night we went to bed and we don't let them sleep in our room, and we let them have the living room kitchen area to themselves, we woke up in the morning to 5 piles of vomit and one pee accident. the vomit was digested and some were foamy and one appeared to be a hairball? maybe. i do have pictures but ill hold off unless im asked. We went out this morning and got his old brand to feed him, im waiting to see if he will vomit again now, I will update. But i believe it may have been a sensitivity to the food.

He has also been frequently urinating, but they are very little. he doesn't appear to be straining. I thought maybe he is bored ? or stressed ? his first day he did this aswell.

I messaged my father and he thinks it could he stress or a bladder infection. I have pressed on his stomach to see how it felt and he was still very soft and not discomforted by me pressing. I also took a peek down there to see if I could see anything but he looked fine. when I googled symptoms, they said he might lick himself often down there but he has not at all yet today. Aside from the frequent urination and vomiting overnight, he hasn't done anything else that raises concerns for me.

I do not have alot of money and my partner is currently out of work, so I cant easily afford the vet. I am unsure of what to do or if there's even anything wrong. opinions amd suggestions appreciated!
