Itinerary help

We are planning a trip to Seattle for a wedding. We plan to do a few things in Seattle and go to a Mariners game. The rest of the time, we want to visit Mt. Rainier and ONP. I am having trouble trying to decide the best route for the things we want to see. The biggest issue is we will be arriving at peak time on July 3, game on the 4^(th), then want to head to the parks but need to be back in Seattle on the evening of the 9^(th,) so we will be ready for wedding stuff on the 10^(th). Currently, I have a reservation at a hotel in Lynnwood when we arrive, as it is on the light rail line. I had hoped to pick up a rental in the Seattle or Lynnwood area when we were ready to head out on the 5^(th). Also, is it best to do the parks clockwise or counterclockwise? Below are some of the things we want to do and see. I would love some insight on coordination, times, places to stay along the way, and what to add or cut out. Thanks.

·         July 3^(rd) – travel day but arrive at 9:20 AM, so we will have some time that day to sightsee. Maybe Chihuly, Space Needle, and possibly Pike Place Market- Staying in Lynnwood until 5th

·         July 4^(th) – Baseball game at noon, dinner after the game, and maybe some other sights if we have time

·         July 5^(th) – leave Seattle

·         Options will be dependent on whether we go clockwise or counterclockwise. These are things we want to do. Also, need to determine where to stay along whichever route we choose.

·         Whale watching half day – not sure if we should go out of Edmonds, Port Angeles, or Port Townsend, which may be dependent on our direction of travel

·         Port Angeles – take the shuttle to Hurricane Ridge

·         Lake Crescent - Marymere Falls, maybe Madison Falls, maybe Devils Punchbowl

·         Sol Duc Falls

·         Rialto Beach

·         HOH – Hall of Mosses

·         Beaches 1-4 or Ruby – won't hit them all, but need to narrow down which is best fit

·         Quinault – anything worth stopping for here? Or should we cut this due to time?

·         Mt. Rainier – Reflection Lake, Skyline Trail to Myrtle Falls, Inspiration Point near Visitors Center, Gondola ride, any other easy hikes recommended? How many days should be allotted for Mt. Rainier? Could we get it done in one day?

·         Head back to Seattle to check into a hotel for the evening

·         July 10^(th) – Wedding at 5:30 in downtown Seattle, so will have some time in the morning to sightsee if we want

·         July 11^(th) – travel day
