I am really confused. I have been told different things from different consultants now.

I was told that they would insert an hormonal IUD during my laparoscopy for endometriosis but I just saw a consultant ( a big endo specialist ) who doesn’t suggest it and said that the pill is more effective over time . I have been on the pill for several years so wanted to come off of it, but it doesn’t cause me any adverse symptoms so he said because it’s working I should stay on that instead.

This would be my first diagnostic laparoscopy

I hate how many different opinions are when it comes to endo.

Has anyone else been told anything similar ?
