Could be low-trim 1.6 tdi MK6 good as a first car?

Hi jet-guys, that's my first post here. I'm 28, and I'm about to buy my first ever car, and Jettas are my only choice. I'm going to buy this 1.6 dieshuuul manual euro-spec mk6. That's the only affordable TDI Jetta nearby my city and it has an upsetting low trim - no multi-func steering wheel, no rear air vents, no even armrest.

Could it be a great adventure to retrofit all of these things, or I'm just going to grab some pain in my assh*les? Anyone have experience with retrofitting rear air vents for climatronic (not HVAC)? I really want to become a jetta family member and hope it'll happen pretty soon
