Earlier today, i had an appointment with a doctor who’s apparently a professional in the area of teenage growth. He got me predictions for my final height, and he told me things to help me grow well. In the list of things not to do, there was calisthenics. I discovered calisthenics a few months ago, and i have been consistently doing some workouts, mainly core exercises focusing on my abs. I managed to achieve a somewhat athletic-looking build, with defined abs. I want to keep this physique, and i’m afraid that my physique will get worse if i stop working out. But the doctor says that doing calisthenics, especially ab workouts, can stunt growth. Now i’m not really sure what to do. I want to grow taller, but i want to keep my physique too. Does calisthenics actually stunt growth?
